Therapy for Relationships & Intimacy

LGBTQ+ -affirming therapy in Los Angeles for the challenges of modern dating, intimacy, and relationships. Supporting individuals in Burbank, West Hollywood, and online across California.

You keep running into the same patterns, dating that goes nowhere, a relationship that’s lost its spark, or a sense that something in your connections just isn’t working.

Maybe it’s hard to express what you need. Maybe you feel disconnected from your own desires and wants around sex and intimacy or hesitate asking. Or maybe anxiety and self-doubt show up right when closeness matters most.

At some point, it stops feeling random, and starts feeling like a pattern.

My approach focuses on understanding the patterns, projections, and unlived parts of yourself that shape how you relate. We pay attention not only to what happens outside the therapy room, but also to what emerges in the present moment between us: where vulnerability tightens, where fear pulls you back, and where old ways of protecting yourself begin to appear in real time.

This isn’t about endless talking. It’s about understanding the system you’re operating in, and building the awareness and confidence to take different risks, communicate more honestly, and create change that carries into your actual relationships and life.

So What You Can Expect

In our work together, we focus on both understanding and change.

This may include:

  • recognizing patterns in dating and relationships

  • building comfort with vulnerability and emotional expression

  • communicating more clearly and directly

  • setting boundaries with more confidence

  • taking small, meaningful steps toward connection and intimacy
