Intimacy & Sex
Intimacy and sex can be some of the most meaningful and complicated parts of our lives. You might find yourself feeling disconnected, unsure of your desires, kinks, or struggling to stay present with a partner(s). You may want closeness, but feel anxious, shut down, or uncertain about how to get there.
I focus on intimacy and sex challenges for adults in Los Angeles and across California, helping you better understand your experiences around connection, desire, and vulnerability so you can move toward more fulfilling and authentic relationships both with your body and with others.
What this might look like
Feeling disconnected from your partner(s) during sex or intimacy
Difficulty expressing needs, desires, or boundaries
Anxiety, avoidance, or shutdown around physical closeness
Wanting intimacy but struggling to sustain it or rediscover it
Questioning desire, attraction, or compatibility
Feeling pressure to perform and “get it right”
How we work with this in therapy
In our work, we slow down and explore your relationship to intimacy, not only what’s happening externally, but what you’re experiencing internally and in your body.
We explore:
How you respond to closeness and vulnerability
Patterns of anxiety, avoidance, or disconnection
Your relationship to desire, boundaries, and communication
How past experiences of closeness and sex shape present intimacy
