Therapy Services in Los Angeles & California
I offer LGBTQ+ affirming therapy for adults in Los Angeles and across California, working with people navigating relationships, intimacy, identity, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel stuck, repeating patterns in dating, feeling disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward.
Our work focuses on understanding those patterns in real time, building self-trust, and helping you make choices that feel more aligned and connected to you and your growth.
Relationships & Dating
You may notice yourself drawn to the same types of relationships, feeling anxious or avoidant in dating, or unsure why connection feels harder than it should.
In our work, we slow down and look closely at what happens in your relationships. This means exploring how you attach, what you expect, and how you respond when things feel uncertain or vulnerable. We define the patterns as they show up, not just in past relationships, but in how you relate in the present.
Over time, this helps you develop more clarity, communicate more honestly, and move toward relationships that feel more stable, mutual, and fulfilling.
Intimacy & Connection
Intimacy can feel complicated, especially when there’s fear of rejection, disconnection, or uncertainty about your needs. You might feel close to others at times, but struggle to sustain it, or find yourself pulling away when things become more vulnerable.
Together, we explore how you experience closeness, both emotionally and physically, and what gets in the way. This includes understanding your boundaries, desires, and the ways you protect yourself in relationships. This also invites getting to know how your body responds in these subtle moments, noting where you tighten up, back away, lean in, etc.
The goal isn’t to force intimacy, but to help you feel more present, open, and connected in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming Therapy
In our work together, LGBTQ+ identities and experiences are understood as central, not secondary. Many clients come in navigating questions around identity, relationships, belonging, or the impact of being othered.
We work with the lived experience of being queer in the world and how it shapes self-perception, relationships, and safety. This may include unpacking internalized messages, exploring desire and identity, or navigating community and connection.
The work is grounded in helping you feel more at home in yourself, while also building relationships that reflect who you are.
Grief & Loss
Grief can come from many places, the loss of a relationship, a version of yourself, or a path you thought your life would take. It often doesn’t move in a straight line.
In therapy, we make room and invite grief without rushing it. We explore what’s been lost, what still matters and why, and how to stay connected to yourself as you move through it.
Over time, this can help you reconnect with meaning and a sense of direction, while still honoring the impact and value of what was and what still remains present in your grief.
